Iron Silicon Aluminum Inductor

When designing magnetic components, we found that there are four kinds of magnetic particle cores: iron silicon aluminum series (Sentust), iron silicon series (Si Fe), high flux magnetic particle cores composed of iron nickel (High Flux), and iron nickel molybdenum (MPP). Figure 3 compares the DC bias performance of four materials from American Magnetic Corporation. It can be seen that the DC bias capacity of Iron Silicon Aluminum Inductor is the worst, that is, the size of its designed inductor needs to be relatively large; Figure 4 shows the loss curve. It can also be seen that the loss of iron, silicon and aluminum is small. However, when looking for cutomers  recently, I found that there are only a lot of  choose iron silicon aluminum  not  iron silicon magnetic cores, most because its price is good.
