Single or double secondary windings used in series or parallel (for safety reasons, 0.35 to 3.2 VA transformers with 2 x 15 and 2 x 18 V outputs and all transformers with 2 x 24 V outputs should not serialize their secondary windings, as this means that they do not conform to VDE 0550 certification)
VB series (0.35 - 3.2VA) inherent short circuit protection
PT series (4.5 - 22VA) is protected by internal PTC devices.
