The MnZn ferrite core is a type of soft magnetic ferrite with a spinel-like structure composed of iron, manganese, zinc oxides and their salts produced by ceramic technology. It has a low coercivity and high initial permeability and is generally used in the frequency range of 1 kHz to 10 MHz because of its low magnetic loss at high frequencies. It can be used to make inductors, transformers, filters, magnetic cores, magnetic heads, antenna rods, etc.
Feature
The MnZn ferrite core generally has the follow feature：
- high permeability and large grains,
- A dense structure and a black appearance.
In contrast, the NiZn ferrite core has a low permeability, small grains, and a porous structure, and is generally brown in color, especially when sintered at low temperatures during production, which highlights its high initial permeability and high magnetic saturation induction.

Application
MnZn ferrite core is a commonly used soft magnetic ferrite material with excellent magnetic and electrical properties in the radio frequency or low frequency range below 1 MHz.
The MnZn ferrite core has a wide range of applications, including switch mode power supply (SMPS), radio frequency (RF) transformers, inductors, pulse transformers, high frequency transformers, noise filters, etc.
The MnZn ferrite core is widely used in the production of switch mode power transformers, flyback transformers, broadband transformers, pulse transformers, electromagnetic interference filters, inductors, and flux coils, and is the largest material in terms of production volume in the soft magnetic ferrite industry, accounting for about 60% of the market share by weight.
