RF Balun Transformer

Balun transformers can be used as the interface between local video, audio and digital signals and long distance transmission lines. It introduces unbalanced signals into balanced transmission lines for long distance transmission.
Differential signaling using balanced transmission lines is less susceptible to noise and crosstalk, lower voltages can be used, and costs are reduced.

To support an even wider range of applications, Mini-Circuits tiny surface-mount transformers and baluns now cover frequencies from 4.5 to 3000MHz. Our latest designs achieve consistent perfomance across very wide frequency bands, and our balun transformers have demonstrated great utility for use with chipsets.
