What is the use of inductance coil for hearing aids?
Leave a message
Inductance coil is a device used to receive magnetic signals inside hearing aids. When there is an alternating magnetic field in the surrounding environment, the coil can induce this magnetic force, generate current, and then convert it into sound through the receiver, and transmit it to the human ear.
How do inductance coils work?
The following is a schematic diagram of the inductor coil in the hearing aid.
M means "microphone" and T means "inductance coil".
When the hearing aid is in M-gear, the coil does not work; when the hearing aid is in T-gear, the coil can identify the magnetic signal in the surrounding environment, and amplify it into the same size of electrical signal, further converted into human ear recognizable sound.
The stronger the magnetic signal, the clearer and truer the sound will be.
Which hearing aids have inductive coil function?
Ear-back hearing aid: ear-back hearing aid is large, easy to operate, easy to install inductance coil.
Partially customized hearing aids: some ITEs and ITCs can choose to distribute inductance coil function, CIC because of its small size, generally no inductance coil function.
Usage method:
Manual switching
Manual switching is usually done in two ways:
1) Direct selection on the body of hearing aids: suitable for some installed with "O, T, M" hearing aids; such hearing aids are generally manual adjustment of analog hearing aids
2) Switch program button: suitable for hearing aids with inductance function program (the examiner needs to set it up in advance), this kind of hearing aids are generally computer programmed hearing aids. The dual star Q split hearing aid is a high-end hearing aid with an inductive function on the market.
Automatic switching
For some higher-end hearing aids, as long as the examiner has pre-set the inductance function, the hearing aids can be automatically switched when the magnetic field environment is induced, without the need for manual settings.
What functions can inductance coil realize?
Function 1: answer the phone.
The following is an ear back machine with inductance coils (T files).
M: microphone program
The hearing aid microphone works normally and collects sounds in the surrounding environment.
T: inductive telephone program
