What is the ferrite core?
Ferrite, also known as ferrite or magnetic ceramics. It is a type of non-metallic magnetic material. It is a composite oxide (or ferrite) of magnetic iron oxide and one or more other metal oxides.
A type of soft magnetic ferrite. Belongs to a spinel type structure. Made from oxides and salts of iron, manganese, and zinc using ceramic technology. It has a high initial permeability. Generally used in the frequency range of 1 kHz to 10 MHz. Can produce magnetic cores, heads, and antenna rods for inductors, transformers, and filters. Commonly referred to as ferrite cores.
