Analysis of switching power transformer principle
Switching power transformer is a power transformer with switch management settings. It not only has the function of voltage transformation of ordinary transformer, but also has the function of insulation isolation and power transmission. It is widely used in switching power supply and other high frequency circuits.
The main materials of switching power transformer: magnetic materials, wire materials and insulation materials are the core of switching power transformer.
The magnetic materials used in switching transformers are soft magnetic ferrites, which can be divided into MnZn series and NiZn series according to their composition and application frequency. The former has high permeability and high saturation magnetic induction, and has low loss in medium frequency and low frequency range. There are many shapes of magnetic cores, such as EI, E, EC and so on.
There are two kinds of enameled wires, high strength polyester enameled wire (QZ) and polyurethane enameled wire (QA), which are commonly used for winding small electronic transformers. According to the thickness of lacquer layer, it can be divided into 1 types (Bo Qixing) and 2 type (thick lacquer type) two kinds. The former is a polyester coating with excellent heat resistance and insulation resistance up to 60 kV / mm, while the latter is a polyurethane coating with strong self-adhesive and self-welding properties (380 C), which can be directly welded without removing the paint film.
Insulating tape is widely used in the interlayer, group insulation and outsourcing insulation of switching transformer coils because of its high electrical resistance and good mechanical performance. The following requirements must be met: good viscosity, peeling resistance, certain tensile strength, good insulation, good voltage resistance, flame retardant and high temperature resistance
