What are the reasons for the burn out of the ring transformer?
1. The transformer wiring is incorrect, and the initial stage is reversed, causing the transformer to burn out;
2. The transformer works for a long time beyond the rated load voltage, causing the temperature of the transformer to rise and burn out;
3. The input voltage of the transformer is too high, exceeding the rated voltage by more than 10%, causing the temperature of the transformer to rise and cause overheating and burnout;
4. If there is a short circuit in the load connected to the transformer, it means the transformer is burnt out;
5. During the use of the transformer, there was collision damage that caused the transformer to burn out.
The reasons for the toroidal transformer burning out as soon as it is powered on may include:
1. human collision during installation;
2. The input and output lines are connected reversely (except 1:1 isolation transformer);
3. There is a short circuit at the output end;
4. The load is a DC load;
5. The power grid is unstable and the instantaneous voltage is too high.
