Flyback Transformer

Flyback transformer is a state of work in high voltage multiple frequency pulse power transformer, abbreviated FBT (flyback transformer). It is the only colorful display circuits of high voltage output unit, the output voltage in the 20 ~ 35 kv. At a certain time flyback transformer will signal a low energy to magnetic deflection coil, and generate a magnetic field. When low energy source is turned off, the magnetic coil energy transfer to the high energy output, and finally to the electron beam gun. When after completing a line scanning electron gun, rotary transformer emit energy, close electron gun and elimination, magnetic field force beam to screen other position, will be able to draw a line under.

The characteristics of flyback flyback transformer

Flyback transformer with low cost, simple design, high efficiency, etc, are widely used in under 100 w to 150 w power supply. Compared with other similar topology structure of circuit and flyback transformer also has the characteristics of isolating the deputy level, and can provide multiple output, as well as the positive and negative voltage output choice

Flyback transformer principle and function

When the switch is opened, the energy is stored in the main level (within the core material). The position of the diode and transformers of pole placement is to make the switch is opened, will not transfer energy to the load side. When the switch is closed, because the magnetic field disappeared, the transformer coil polarity reversal, the output rectifier conduction, material within the energy stored in the core will be transmitted to the load. This process continues until the energy depletion or switch to open again.

Flyback controller can be run in the intermittent or continuous mode. Open or close when the FET, core material store energy during the flyback completely exhausted. Working in continuous mode, the FET will run out of material in the core flyback power before opening. Flyback transformer of the specific work patterns associated with load and input voltage.
